Monthly Sign-Up Timeline
- Leadership Team
- May begin signing up on the 21st of each month at 8:00 PM (first come, first serve - allocated 2 "leadership" slots/month at this time).
- On the 29th at 8:00 PM, you may sign up for additional volunteer shifts and any open experienced volunteer shifts.
- General Volunteers
- New volunteers can only sign up for one shift on the 21st of each month at 8:00PM. Sign ups will be first come, first serve (not lottery).
- Experienced volunteers may use ticket to sign up for a maximum of 2 "experienced" shifts starting on the 21st of each month at 8:00 PM
- For ALL volunteers:
- On the 29th of each month at 8:00 PM, all volunteers can sign up for additional open shifts or continue to add themselves to waitlists.
- Please DO NOT sign up for MS3/MS4/AI slots unless you are truly an MS3/MS4/AI, on an appropriate Community Medicine elective, or a GHHS mentor.
- GHHS x STV Mentorship Program:
- Mentors, please coordinate volunteer shifts with your mentees! Once your mentee transitions from "new" to "experienced", please sign up for the "MS3/MS4/AI" volunteer role in order to volunteer together.
- Leadership volunteers: if you are a program mentor and a JD/Director/Chair, your GHHS shift will NOT count towards monthly STV leadership volunteer requirements. Only front desk/encounter coordinator/IPS roles will continue to count.
- Transitioning from "new" to "experienced" - you will be transitioned to an experienced volunteer once you have completed 3 “new” shifts. Please submit this form to be transitioned to experienced. Other shifts (ophtho, audiology, family planning) do not count towards the 3 shifts.
- Please email us if you have completed the OBGYN clinic training modules and need access to OBGYN Clinic sign-ups!
Shifts will be frozen 48 hours prior to start date. Please email the chair of the clinic or [email protected] if an emergent situation occurs and you cannot make it to your volunteer shift so that we can email individuals on the waitlist! More than 3+ dropped shifts in an academic year will prohibit further volunteering for the remaining part of that year.
